Leak Check
During November the Plumbing Industry Commission and Our Water Our Future is encouraging licensed and/or registered plumbers to check for water leaks around customers' homes.
"Leak Check" is a joint initiative between the Department of Sustainability and Environment and the PIC to achieve water savings around the home.
To participate in Leak Check, plumbers will need to check for leaks in their customers' homes. Once complete, the plumber and the customer will need to fill out an entry form.
By participating in Leak Check, Our Water Our Future is offering plumbers and their customers the opportunity to win one of three prizes:
- $1000
- $600
- $300 Flight Centre gift voucher for the winning plumber and their customer.
To register for your FREE 'Leak Check' pack from Our Water Our Future, SMS "LEAK" to 13 46 88 by Monday 30 November 2009. Deadline for entry form submission is 24 December 2009. Winners will be drawn on 15 January 2010 and published in the Herald Sun shortly afterwards.
