- Free Solar Hot Water Systems Training
Additional training sessions for Plumbing Practitioners on solar hot water systems will be held in Regional Victoria during the months of November and December. The Plumbing Industry Commission encourages all Plumbing Practitioners to attend the training sessions.

- Rheem Training - Installation
Rheem are taking expressions of interest from Plumbers who wish to undergo some training specific to the installation of the following Rheem products: Heat Pumps, Solar Hi-line and Lo-line HWS as well as their range of 5 star gas water heaters. The training will also feature sizing, selling and consumer advice when dealing with these Rheem products. Please refer to flyer for contact details (152KB).

This unit specifies the competency required to install and commission Type A appliances approved for use with NG, LPG, or TLP up to 200kPa. Work associated with these units is undertaken within the plumbing and services sector in accordance with relevant Australian Standards.
