Obtaining a gas meter fix

If you require a gas meter fix for an installation, you can book this with the gas retailers listed below. Gas meter booking can only be made by licensed plumbing practitioner and require you to provide:

• Licence number
• Compliance certificate number for the job
• Address of the installation

When the gas meter has been fixed, it is your responsibility to:

• Connect the installation to the meter outlet
• Ensure all tests have been carried out
• Ensure it is safe to turn on the gas supply
• Purge the installation and commission the appliance
• Ensure the installation address is written on the compliance certificate
• Ensure that the compliance certificate is provided to the consumer and the details are lodged with us.
